I wrote Millionaire in December of 2020, living alone in a new city, when the human interactions I had only existed through the phone. I was trying to describe this spasm of uncertainty I felt any moment I realized I could possibly be disconnected.

Her new single is a commentary on social culture as a result of mining her interior experience of how deeply technology has permeated every aspect of her life.

You Baby is Brooks' first self produced release. In high school, she posted the demo on SoundCloud for her friends to enjoy, not expecting it to gain as much traction as it has over the years.
